BBL Forever Young

The BBL Forever Young consists of a protocol that uses the combination of two technologies to enhance the treatment results. The first, BBL (BroadBand Light), is an intense pulsed light (IPL) used for the treatment of pigmented and vascular lesions.

The second, Forever Young, is a 1064nm Nd\:YAG laser that is painless and non-ablative, used as an anti-aging treatment aimed at reducing signs of aging, dilated pores, and improving skin texture. The combination of these two technologies enhances skin quality, giving it a younger, more even, and radiant appearance.

It is applied in series of broadband photothermal pulses, with varying wavelengths, over the area to be treated. The top layer of the skin absorbs this energy, causing a “lesion” and, as a response from our body, there is stimulation of the synthesis of new cells and new collagen, initiating the natural healing and regeneration process of this heat-induced “lesion.”

This technology allows for the treatment of both facial and body areas, is effective on all skin types, and is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions:

Eliminate dark spots (pigmentation)
Solar lentigines (freckles)
Nevus (moles)
Hyperpigmentation
Melasma

Eliminate pink spots and vascular issues (hemoglobin)
Telangiectasia
Rosacea
Couperose
Angioma
Spider veins
Flushing (skin redness)
"Port-wine" stains

Photorejuvenation
Fine lines (expression lines)
Wrinkles
Uneven texture

Acne treatment

Between 45 to 60 minutes.

No. Most patients report only feeling a mild sensation of heat, and after the session, they may experience a slight burning sensation, similar to a mild sunburn, which will disappear within a few hours. It may leave some residual effects on the skin, such as redness, swelling, and darker pigmentation, which are usually mild and fade within a few hours, allowing for a return to normal daily activities without issue.

Yes. BBL features technology that is FDA-approved, and rigorous clinical studies and scientific publications worldwide confirm its effectiveness and safety.

The number of treatments required always depends on the severity of the lesions being treated. However, at least 3–4 initial sessions should be carried out monthly. Results are visible from the very first session.

The results are permanent only for the imperfections that already exist on the skin. However, this treatment does not prevent the appearance of future signs of aging or sun-induced lesions. It is important to have a daily skincare routine, particularly the application of sunscreen, and maintenance is recommended every 3 months to preserve the results.
