Dr Marta Beauty Aesthetic Clinic
The Dr. Marta Beauty Clinic offers the latest technology in aesthetic medicine, the Lutronic LaseMD Ultra™. It is a fractional, non-ablative thulium laser treatment (1927nm) that, in combination with active ingredients, stimulates collagen production and rejuvenates the skin. It has the same goal as a resurfacing laser but without the typical recovery time associated with those lasers.
With a wavelength of 1927nm, the LaseMD Ultra™ is characterized by an extremely high water absorption, making it especially effective in treating the upper layers of the skin, which are composed of up to 70% water. The laser's energy vaporizes the tissue's water, forming reservoirs on the skin, through which the laser energy will later penetrate. This mechanism generates dermal coagulation, triggering the cellular response process and leading to the stimulation and production of new collagen.
This type of laser is effective for all skin types and ages, and is indicated for those who want to eliminate skin imperfections and reduce marks, such as:
Scars
Stretch marks
Acne marks
Expression wrinkles
Pigmentation and melasma
Skin laxity
Photoaging
Dilated pores
Actinic keratosis
Hair and scalp revitalization
The delicacy and precision of the LaseMD Ultra also allow for the treatment of facial areas with greater accuracy, such as the periocular area, perioral area ("barcode lines"), neck, and décolletage.
Between 30–45 minutes.
With a beam diameter of 200 µm, this treatment is less painful and has a shorter recovery time compared to conventional laser resurfacing treatments. However, a topical anesthetic cream will still be applied to the treated area to eliminate any discomfort during the procedure. After the session, the skin may show some erythema (reddened appearance) and you may also feel a mild burning sensation, similar to a mild sunburn. These effects will disappear within 24 to 48 hours.
Yes. The Lutronic LaseMD Ultra™ is a non-surgical procedure approved by the FDA, and rigorous clinical studies and scientific publications worldwide ensure its effectiveness and safety, with side effects being particularly rare.
The number of sessions depends on the indication; however, on average, 2-4 sessions are required with an interval of 2-3 months.
It is important to note that with the passage of time, collagen production decreases, so it is essential to have seasonal sessions to maintain the results. It is also important to adopt a daily skincare routine, particularly the application of sunscreen, to prevent the appearance of future marks and imperfections.
