Mesotherapy, or intradermotherapy, is an exclusively medical technique that involves the administration of certain vitamin supplements and highly diluted pharmaceutical substances. These solutions are FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved, proving their effectiveness and safety.
It is a non-surgical method performed through the application of small intradermal injections into the scalp. It is not completely painless but is generally a well-tolerated procedure, taking around 15-30 minutes to complete. The number of treatments required varies from person to person, but typically, sessions need to be performed every 15 days for a certain period of time. The various cocktails available on the market are beneficial when used at the onset of hair loss.
These small doses of a solution rich in proteins, nutrients, and vitamins injected into the mesoderm of the scalp aim to accelerate cellular metabolism, increase blood circulation, and induce hair growth, thus revitalizing the hair follicles.
This process aims to strengthen the thickness and volume of the hair, while simultaneously stimulating and strengthening the hair follicles through nutritional supply and improved oxygen delivery.
The mesotherapy technique is also used on any part of the body such as the arms, abdomen, flanks, thighs, face, and neck (submental fat) with different purposes.
