Dr. Marta Beauty Clinic is the first and only clinic in Portugal to use the latest Lutronic Genius® technology. It is a high-precision treatment that combines two technologies, microneedling and radiofrequency. It is an exceptional skin care treatment, being the only technology with triple action that simultaneously addresses sagging, wrinkles, and texture.
How does it work?
The Lutronic Genius® works through the effect of tissue coagulation. This coagulation is the result of a series of thermal energy pulses delivered through micro-needles, which raises the skin tissue temperature to 65-70°C, creating more than 50,000 micro-coagulation areas per treatment. This process creates retraction points that cause small lesions, forming a scar in the deeper layers of the skin, resulting in the regeneration of collagen and elastin and improving the texture of the skin, wrinkles, and sagging.
What is the difference between Lutronic Genius® and other microneedling radiofrequency devices?
The Lutronic Genius® stands out from other microneedling radiofrequency devices for being more effective and having no recovery time. It consists of 49 needles, a higher number compared to other devices, which translates to a greater amount of energy delivered to the skin, providing better results.
The presets and needle tips of the Genius are designed for all skin types and different areas of the body. They are also finer and more flexible, causing fewer epidermal lesions, with less risk of bruising, bleeding, or scratches, which are often observed with other devices.
The Lutronic Genius® also offers real-time temperature monitoring, making this treatment safer and more comfortable.

What is the duration of the session?
Between 45 to 60 minutes.
Is it painful?
Being a minimally invasive procedure, necessary precautions must be taken before the treatment begins. An anesthetic cream will be applied to the area to be treated, eliminating any discomfort during the procedure. After the session, the skin may show some erythema (reddened appearance) and you may also feel a mild burning sensation, similar to a light sunburn. These effects will disappear within 24 to 48 hours.

Yes. The Lutronic Genius® is a non-surgical procedure that is FDA-approved, and rigorous clinical studies and scientific publications worldwide ensure its effectiveness and safety, with side effects being particularly rare.
How often should it be done?
The number of sessions depends on the indication; however, on average, 2-6 sessions are required with an interval of 4-8 weeks.
What is the duration of the results?
The results begin to be visible after one month. However, the maximum effect will only be visible after approximately 3 months, as the body will need to stimulate the production of new collagen fibers and strengthen the existing ones. Since collagen production decreases with age, it may be necessary to undergo more than one treatment to achieve better results.
