Butt Augmentation

Buttock augmentation is a medical procedure that involves the application of injectables, in order to increase, contour and change the shape of the glutes, without surgery. This procedure can be performed by injecting hyaluronic acid or poly-lactic acid (Sculptra®) into the patient’s buttocks.

The big difference lies in the immediate results, although short term, achieved by hyaluronic acid; while Sculptra® is more effective over time in the natural production of collagen by the body, triggering an inflammatory reaction, thus creating a combination of collagen and scar tissue, which elevates and firms the glutes.

It is a painless procedure, since it involves anesthesia.

In the case of injection of poly-l-lactic acid, the results are gradual and long-lasting, natural and subtle in appearance. The treatment does not require a period of inactivity, however it is not advisable to attend the gym on the same day.

The results start to be visible three weeks after the first session. 3 sessions are advised in order to achieve the desired results. The final results are visible 3 months after treatment. Although the results of this procedure are long-lasting (2 to 3 years), they are not permanent.
