PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

The PRP, or “Vampire Face”, is a special centrifugation technique that is made from a blood sample of the person.

It is a treatment that consists of taking advantage of growth factors, derived from platelets in our blood, in order to stimulate cell regeneration and accelerate tissue repair.

How does it work?

Initially, a small amount of blood is collected and placed in a properly sterilized tube. This tube is placed inside a centrifuge, at high speeds, in order to separate the plasma from the different blood components. During this process the red and white blood cells are separated from the plasma and platelets.

After this process a golden yellow liquid, plasma, is obtained, which now contains a higher number of platelets than normal. Platelets are the cells present in our blood that aid in the healing of tissues and promote the production of new cells, including collagen and hyaluronic acid.

When applied to specific areas of the skin, by means of local intradermal injection, they act as a matrix that promotes the increase of collagen production, regenerates the tissues, softens and gives more firmness to the skin, contributing to a considerable improvement in the quality of the skin.

It is a simple, safe, and fast procedure, which uses the growth factors of each person, without synthetic products or surgery. Your own blood does all the work. Thus, it does not have contraindications or side effects resulting from its application.

Results begin to appear 3-4 weeks after treatment and gradually improve over time, with the most significant results being more noticeable after 1 and a half to 2 months. Maintenance treatments with PRP should be administered over time depending on the needs of each case.

Can be indicated for:
Treatment of Alopecia (hereditary or non-hereditary

In these cases, PRP is injected into the scalp, with the aim of stimulating the follicular unit in order to promote hair growth. It is a procedure that can be performed as a single treatment, to strengthen the follicle, ensuring its longevity and potential, and also invigorate dormant follicles, or in a senescent (aging) phase, stimulating the growth of new hair.

PRP is recommended for all people, regardless of their degree of alopecia and even if they have already undergone hair transplantation.

Unlike hair transplants, treatment with PRP has no side effects such as the formation of crusts, trauma, and erythema, healing much more quickly.
